9000. Taste of Art: Cutting Boards

Our Taste of Art Workshops welcome students of all skill levels to make and take home with you that very evening. Tonight's project: Wooden Earrings! There are two segments to this class. First: an introduction to digital design and laser engraving. In the second segment, you will use precut basic shapes (laser cut) to glue and assemble into completed earrings. We will also provide knives so you could custom cut shapes to make your own designs with stained veneers if you like.

- There is a material fee of $10 which will be included at registration checkout.
- This class is open to students ages 18 and up. Participants 16 - 17 are welcome when registered with a parent or guardian.

As an instructor I believe that every student can express artistic expression in every piece they create. Understanding the technology of woodworking is necessary to being able to support this vision. We teach both expression and technology. The details can be demanding, but at the end of the day the student will take away a creation they love and value.
