C-Table
Class - Wood | Registration opens 11/10/2026 9:00 AM EDT
A "C Table" is a handy platform for holding your phone, a coffee cup, or dinner. The student will be given freedom to choose dimensions and style. The de facto wood is cherry but other options are available with material fee adjustments. A meetup at a local lumberyard is optional where a broad range of woods are in stock. Finishing is included in this project.
Many of the woodshop tools will be used including the tablesaw, bandsaw, compound miter saw, router, planer, joiner, and drill press. Different methods of joinery will be explored.

As an instructor I believe that every student can express artistic expression in every piece they create. Understanding the technology of woodworking is necessary to being able to support this vision. We teach both expression and technology. The details can be demanding, but at the end of the day the student will take away a creation they love and value.
