Community Paint Night 7
Open Studio- Graphics 2D | Registration opens 8/11/2026 9:00 AM EDT
Hosted by Abby (Studio Manager for Graphics, Print, and Youth at Sawtooth), Paint Night is a meeting every other Monday night for painting and drawing artists in the community to come together. Bring your current projects, join in a collaboration, get feedback from fellow artists, or just come and chat about your favorite artwork. Our classroom is equipped with easels, stools, tables, table easels, chairs, and drawing boards. Some other tools, such as brushes and palettes, are available to use as well.
Paint night is available for people of any artistic experience and medium, whether you are selling oil masterpieces or trying to learn how to draw a straight line. Come from 5:30 to 7:30 or drop in any time in between; just bring a friendly attitude and something to draw with.
Abby Weatherholtz
Abby Weatherholtz is a painter and seamstress from Front Royal, VA. She holds a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
Her background in both psychology and art has deeply influenced her belief in the connection between mental health and art-making. She whole-heartedly believes that art is not only a useful tool, but a necessary apparatus that unites different types of people and imposes humanity into our everyday lives through both the physical act of making and the critical reasoning involved in creating and experiencing art. At Sawtooth, she hopes to help encourage community and accessibility for everyone, regardless of background or skill-level.
