Watercolor: Illustration and Texture

Art + Wellness | Available

Let your imagination loose and create your own fairy figure, monster or silly creature while we explore several simple techniques to give your watercolor piece a variety of textures.
We will start the class by exploring different ways to achieve textures using simple supplies, (salt, plastic wrap, alcohol, paper towel, etc), along with other watercolor applications using colored pencils, wet on wet, dry on wet, etc.  Students will explore these textures and then draft their illustration.  All supplies included.  Ages 14 and up.
