Youth: Painted End Table
Class - Wood | Registration opens 8/11/2026 9:00 AM EDT
This is a Youth class specifically tailored to middle school students – 6th through 8th grade. Students will learn the basic skills, tools, and safety rules of woodworking through hands on practice and exploration in the wood shop. Students will learn to measure, mark, and cut wood using machines. Students will build a tall end table and then colorfully paint it with their own designs.
Additional Information:
A $45 materials fee will be added to the total class fee at checkout.
Registration will close one week prior to the start of class.
Enrollment is open to students ages 12 to 16.
Kirk Fry
Kirk Fry is a graphic designer, illustrator and maker of uniquely artistic guitars. Originally from Wheeling, WV, he has always enjoyed drawing, painting, carving and making things with his hands while also working by occupation in the digital world. Kirk is always looking to learn something new and working to combine as many art disciplines as possible in the things he makes.
