Pair of White Oak Whiskey Tumblers

This is the way whiskey was meant to be enjoyed. Craft your own white oak whiskey tumbler by turning it on a lathe and finishing it by charring the inside. Your own handcrafted whiskey tumbler will enrich your whiskey's flavor, drawing out subtle notes and aromas that a glass simply cannot. This class is perfect for woodturners who enjoy their whiskey or have friends who would appreciate this as a gift. Please note this class minimum age is 21. No woodworking or turning experience is necessary.
Additional Information:- A $15 materials fee will be added to the total class fee at checkout.
- Enrollment is open to students ages 21 and up.
- Registration will close one week prior to the start of class.
- Class will take a lunch break around mid day. Students are encouraged to either pack a lunch or plan to visit one of the convenient eateries on nearby 4th Street.
- Sorry, whiskey must not be consumed on the Sawtooth campus.
Brian Guhman
Brian Guhman was born and raised on Long Island, NY. He moved to North Carolina after college in 1994. He has worked in the custom millwork industry for 25 years, and has been woodturning for 12 years. He started making cremation urns 10 years ago and no two are the same. Brian loves working with wood and the unexpected surprise of cutting into logs. The logs are sourced from local tree services destined for the landfill. You can find his work on his Etsy shop.
