Shell-ebrate the Sea! Mixed Media Workshop | Ages 6-8

Say “goodbye” to summer by creating ocean-inspired artwork: all with seashells! In this two-hour workshop, students will create animal mosaics, turtle buddies, and even some jewelry. As students explore their creativity, they will learn about composition and 3D art and practice fine motor skills.

Sarah Booze
Born and raised in the foothills of North Carolina, Sarah Katherine Booze has been drawing and painting since the age of 12 but started her professional art career in 2017. A self-taught artist, Sarah always found herself drawn to the beauty and wonder of the natural landscapes of the world and began to paint the places around her. Her paintings are inspired by her home in North Carolina, as well as the many places she travels.
Through color, brushwork, and composition, her art illustrates the tranquility and allure of nature. The landscapes she paints possess a quiet simplicity which invites the viewer to dive in and sit for a while.
