Pendants: Turning Small Treasures

Class - Wood | Available

In this class, students will transform simple wood disks into wearable pendants. We’ll focus on small-scale turning, clean shaping, and thoughtful detail work.
Students will explore surface enhancement techniques including texture, inlay, and the addition of crushed stone to create contrast and visual interest. These elements elevate each piece from a simple form into something personal and expressive.
Suitable for intermediate turners, this class offers a chance to build skills while creating finished pieces to wear or gift. Students will leave with several completed pendants and new techniques for adding detail and meaning to their work.

Earley, Crystal
Crystal Earley

Crystal is a third generation woodworker as well as a stained glass artist, beekeeper and rock collector. Eyes either down looking for rocks, or up looking at trees, Crystal has zero sense of direction, but a keen eye for nature and its endless beauty. Whether making a complete mess or turning a stunning bowl, Crystal is happiest in her shop covered in sawdust and surrounded by woodchips.
