9059. Twelve Point Star
Class - Wood | Registration opens 2/10/2026 9:00 AM EST
Dive into the geometry of dodecahedrons and learn to create a twelve-point star in wood. Similar to the Moravian Star, this project will challenge an intermediate woodworker with cutting complex tapered points, creating pentagonal stock, and working with jigs to efficiently cut the components. Prior woodworking experience is necessary, and a love for math is just a plus!
Additional Information:
- A material fee of $35 will be added at registration.
- Registration will close one week prior to the start of class.
- Enrollment is open to students age 18+
- This is a 4 week class with a scheduled skip day for Memorial Day

As an instructor I believe that every student can express artistic expression in every piece they create. Understanding the technology of woodworking is necessary to being able to support this vision. We teach both expression and technology. The details can be demanding, but at the end of the day the student will take away a creation they love and value.
