Taste of Art: Copper Cuff

Did you imagine you could make a solid copper cuff in one class? Students will learn the tips and tricks to turn copper tubing into a beautiful textured cuff, using the roll mill, metal stamps, and hammer textures. The cuff is a perfect one-size-fits-most project, great for a personalized gift. No experience is necessary. All supplies included. Ages 14 and up.
Nannette Davis
Nannette Davis graduated from Kansas University with a bachelor’s degree in graphic arts and communication and a bachelor’s degree in fine art in metalsmithing. After working as a lead bench and assistant for a jewelry designer in Chicago, she built her studio and started a jewelry line. She worked for 16 years in Gatti-Davis Designs Studio in Colorado then moved to Winston-Salem in 2005 and taught in the public schools through 2011. She teaches classes at Sawtooth and sells her jewelry through craft shows and galleries.
