Watercolor and Ink Magical Creatures | Ages 9-13

In this class, we will learn how to draw a variety of mythical and magical creatures with watercolor and ink! We will break down the creature forms into basic shapes and learn how to refine them into believable animals as well as how to layer color to bring them to life!

CLASS INFORMATION:
What to Wear: Art gets messy, so wear clothing suitable for an artist! It sometimes gets chilly in the studios, so an extra layer is recommended.
What to Bring: Sawtooth will provide all materials and supplies needed for class. Students are welcome to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated and a snack to be eaten during a break.
While parents and guardians are more than welcome to stay in the building, we kindly ask that you don't stay with your children during the class. We've found that this can sometimes hinder the creative process.
Parking: Lastly, metered parking is available on Marshall and Spruce Street and is free on evenings and weekends.
Communication: Please add youth@sawtooth.org to your contact list to ensure that emails do not go to junk mail. I will send an email one week before and the day before with all the necessary information.
