Naturalism can often seem intimidating, but in this class, we will break down the translation of form and figure into positive and negative space. We will practice sight measurement and proportion, along with constructing space within 2D. Understanding figurative storytelling and gesture are also key goals of this course. We will explore creating realism through simplification using a versatile medium.
