Start your exploration of woodturning in this hands-on workshop where you'll turn and take home a wooden bowl in a day. This fun and fast-paced workshop will get you familiar with the tools and techniques of bowl turning with an emphasis on safety and with the goal in sight of a unique handmade bowl of your own! No woodworking or turning experience is necessary.
Additional Information:- A $15 materials fee will be added to the total class fee at checkout.
- Enrollment is open to students ages 18 and up.
- Registration will close one week prior to the start of class.
- Class will take a lunch break around mid day. Students are encouraged to either pack a lunch or plan to visit one of the convenient eateries on nearby 4th st.
Phil Fuentes
Phillip is a woodturner, furniture maker, and bladesmith in Greensboro, North Carolina. In his workshop, he makes carving and chef's knives, along with specialty oyster knives forged from railroad spikes.
