A drawing course for those who feel they cannot draw but have always wanted to learn, as well as for those who want to practice or learn new approaches to drawing. Students will explore drawing with a pencil and an eraser in this five-week class. Drawing from observation and imaginative experimentation will be fundamental to the class. Students will learn varied approaches to the composition of a finished drawing.
Ages: 13 - Adult
- A 11 x14"drawing pad, 2B & 6B pencils, and a plastic eraser.
Lea Lackey-Zachman
Lea has an MFA with concentration in painting and art history with an additional graduate certification in Art Education from University of North Carolina at Greensboro Ms. Lackey-Zachmann is retired from a career of teaching art at the college level for many years. She is a professional painter as well as exhibition coordinator and founding member of Artworks Gallery in Winston-Salem, NC. For the past few years, she has visually explored making digital images , three dimensionally designed paintings, and videography.
