You're invited to a Puppet Parade with Sawtooth School for Visual Art, Catbird (on the Yadkin) Press, and the Forsyth County Public Library as we celebrate the conclusion of Here Come the Puppets!

Children and families will meet at the Central Library to make puppets and enjoy a Storytime before parading to Sawtooth for more making, letterpress cranking, and exhibit viewing! Bring your craftiest costumes, streamers, and of course, puppets!

Schedule:

  • 10 - 11 am: Puppet-making activities at Forsyth County Central Library, 660 W 5th Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101
  • 11 - 11:20 am: Storytime at Forsyth County Central Library
  • 11:20 am: Puppet Parade from Central Library to Sawtooth School for Visual Art, 251 N. Spruce Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101
  • Until 12:30 pm: Stay at Sawtooth to view Here Come the Puppets! and crank the Letterpress to make your own puppet-themed, handprinted broadside!
