Students will use Asian brushes and sumi inks from grinding stones to treat the blank page as their playground. The ideas presented will be stepping stones to your own internal rhythms with the goal being able to capture your unique voice, vision and sense of play... bound into book form. All materials provided.  Ages 14 and up.

Teta, Joyce

Joyce Teta has been a devoted calligrapher from an early age and specializes in proper book-making techniques. She founded the Calligraphy Centre in 1984 in the Triad, and has worked for clients such as Maya Angelou and the W-S Mayor.
