Students will learn and implement the process of block printing on textiles by designing and carving rubber stamps and printing on their own tea towels. Play and experimentation with pattern and form in their compositions will be encouraged. 

Beck, Corrie

Corrie Beck is a multifaceted artist based in Winston-Salem, NC. Beck works across a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, print, textiles, and paper, producing abstract forms that experiment with pattern, color, and unique compositions. Beck has produced work as an editorial coordinator and model for local photographers and businesses, where her love of design, expression, + creative collaboration collide. She enjoys working with recycled and found materials most commonly used in her collage art and art-based wearables.
