Learn basic techniques of relief printing on linoleum blocks, using water-soluble inks. Linoleum block is easy to cut and easy to capture a range of designs from very simple to very complex. Students will learn methods for transferring images to the blocks, carving techniques, and printing.

Beck, Corrie

Corrie Beck is a multifaceted artist based in Winston-Salem, NC. Beck works across a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, print, textiles, and paper, producing abstract forms that experiment with pattern, color, and unique compositions. Beck has produced work as an editorial coordinator and model for local photographers and businesses, where her love of design, expression, + creative collaboration collide. She enjoys working with recycled and found materials most commonly used in her collage art and art-based wearables.
