Create STUNNING silver and gold earrings with Carrie Story and learn how to gold plate onto fired silver metal clay! In this fun workshop, create a pair of fine silver metal clay earrings. Carrie will guide you through some simple techniques and discuss creative design alternatives for your metal clay project. After firing your metal clay, create a unique earring wire and solder it onto your components then begin preparing the metal clay for plating.

If you thought that was fun, it gets even better! Once polished, you will pen plate 24k gold onto the surface of your designs. It’s just like painting with gold! Accent your earrings with gold patterns to create a unique and stunning design.

All levels of experience are welcome. Newbies welcome. A kit fee of $65 will be collected by the instructor during the workshop. Kit includes 15g PMC3, .925 wire, gold solution and use of all materials and tools.
