Students will use block printing methods to create patterns and prints on fabric, utilizing used clothing and textiles to create unique, wearable art! Projects will include learning to block print on fabric, exploring the use of continuous patterns and tessellations in design, printing a t-shirt and creating a custom patch that can be used and worn both decoratively and functionally!

  • Students should bring some used clothing and or fabric with them.
Beck, Corrie

Corrie Beck is a multifaceted artist based in Winston-Salem, NC. Beck works across a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, print, textiles, and paper, producing abstract forms that experiment with pattern, color, and unique compositions. Beck has produced work as an editorial coordinator and model for local photographers and businesses, where her love of design, expression, + creative collaboration collide. She enjoys working with recycled and found materials most commonly used in her collage art and art-based wearables.
