Class Description

Jetsons, meet Jackson Pollock. Can robots create art? Where is the line between technology and art, and where do the two intersect? Experience true "art and innovation" through virtual reality, coding, and robotics! Learn to control and code robots and leave with a piece of art created by you... and your bot!

Instructor

George Peterson

George Peterson received a BS in Computer Science from NCSU in 2003 and an MA in Liberal Studies from UNCG in 2007. He has primarily worked as a software and web developer, currently at Inmar. George is a FIRST Robotics Competition mentor for the all-girl team called "Girls on Fire" and is the Executive Director of MRC, Winston-Salem's robotics center. He is also a board member and previous co-chair of Art Nouveau Winston-Salem.
