Multi-week in-person | Registration opens 8/1/26 12:00 AM
“Lily, the Felon's Daughter” a parody tear-jerker stars virtuous Lily Fairweather whose romance with weak but handsome Compton is thwarted when Craven Sinclair lures Compton into a life of crime. Rick will improvise at the piano while some enrollees read the parts, and others hiss, boo, and cheer. Jerome K. Jerome’s comic novel, “Three Men in a Boat (To Say Nothing of the Dog)” describes a two-week boating holiday by the author and two real-life friends: George and Harris. Everything goes wrong but a good time is had by all.
Moderator: Rick Sowash is a classical composer, author, and publisher of his own music, books, and CDs. He has presented "Lily" on stage a dozen times and lists "Three Men" among his favorite books. His OLLI courses are surprising, entertaining, and sometimes even informative! Above all, he promises, "Fun is what we’re going to have and nothing else but." He has received OLLI's Stephen Appel Award for excellence in teaching.
