You have a new DSLR or mirrorless camera! So now how do you create some great images? This course is intended for folks wanting to learn the basics of how to use their digital camera (NOT point-and-shoot!) with little or no previous knowledge. We’ll cover learning the fundamentals of photography including the major parts of a camera. You'll learn shooting in aperture priority, shutter priority, program, and manual modes. We'll discuss the basics of exposure, depth of field, focusing, lenses, and composition. Let’s make some great pictures together!
Moderator: Ray Rawlinson has pursued photography for 65+ years. He studied portrait photography/lighting at Sandwell College of Art and photographic conferences. He worked as a professional photographer for three years.
