This three-week course will unveil five "Good Events" each week that will produce good feelings. No doom and gloom allowed. Topics will include adventure, discoveries, weird events, medical breakthroughs, etc. Local to international. Silly to serious. Each story will be followed by a short class discussion on how and why this event transpired. This course is a spin-off of the "Good Events" section of OLLI's long-time Current Events class.

Moderator: Marty Greenwell is a long-time OLLI participant who has recently been facilitating the "Good Events" section of OLLI's popular Current Events class. He likes to pass along good news amidst the dour happenings that are the spotlight of today's current news reporting. He is a retired CPA who likes to redefine what numbers really mean.
