2102 Your Weather, Our Weather, and Weather Data Exploration

Session one: Finding weather data that: keeps you and your family safe and helps with decision-making and planning for everyday events. Session two: Citizen science and ways you can contribute to weather data bases. Session three: Open forum on any weather phenomenon and related data sets. Session four: Field trip to a National Weather Service office or local television station (date/location TBD).
Moderator: Sylvia Reeves has a BS in Atmospheric Sciences from Cornell Univ. and a MS in Science Policy from North Carolina State Univ. As a meteorologist with 45 years of experience forecasting, briefing, and planning for weather events, she also has decades of parallel experience as an emergency management professional.
