1507 Baby Boom Turns 80

Multi-week in-person | Registration opens 8/1/26 12:00 AM

Those of us who were born between 1946 and 1964 are facing financial , medical, housing, and supportive care challenges that no other generation has had to face. Over the course of eight classes, we will cover the history and development of Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid; highlight the challenges those programs are facing; and then discuss how you might plan your own and your family’s future during this period. Different housing, caregiving environments, and supportive care will also be discussed.

Moderator: Michael Barber designed and implemented care systems in each of his positions: family physician who practiced in Fairfield, Chief Medical Officer of ChoiceCare, CEO of a continuing care and long-term care alliance, board member of Episcopal Retirement Homes, and Chief Medical Officer of a large provider of affordable housing for the elderly and permanent supportive housing for the homeless.
