We propose revitalizing engagement through OLLI’s Learn and Do Innovation Model, a three-session train-the-moderator workshop that combines active learning with meaningful community action. Session One introduces the model and demonstrates how learning can lead to service using a real-world example. Session Two features community organizations presenting needs, projects, and volunteer opportunities to foster partnerships. Session Three is an interactive workshop where participants transform community action ideas into potential future courses. Participants will better understand the model, strengthen community connections, develop leadership skills, and generate future Learn and Do course proposals. Classes will feature guests speakers from Shared Harvest, Civic Garden Center, and La Soupe.
