This interactive workshop will equip you with practical resources to understand problem gambling prevention, education, and treatment. A panel of experts led by Dr. Gregory Stewart, MSW, MS, will share insights, strategies, and best practices contributing to a statewide effort to combat gambling addiction and advocate for problem gambling prevention initiatives. They will also explore the expanding landscape of gambling opportunities; implications for older adults; the need for increased awareness, programming, and policy; clinical distinctions of Gambling Disorder; impacts to the field of behavioral health; and how to get involved.
