This class will include an overview of the history of our National Park System along with a visual tour of some of the most famous and iconic of 63 national parks. We will also visit some of the lesser-known but equally beautiful and fascinating gems We will discuss how our parks came to be and the challenge of preserving them today. Hopefully the class will inspire visits to the parks or at least a greater admiration of them The class will be enhanced with videos.

Moderator: Gregory Gibson is a retired Presbyterian minister and attorney and now a professional artist. He served as chaplain for Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks .
