2233 **CANCELLED Writing Flash Fiction
Multi-week in-person | Unavailable
Flash fiction has many names—twitterature, dribbles, drabbles, micro fiction, or sudden fiction. All of it tells a story in a limited number of words that seek maximum impact. We will explore these forms of fiction through our brief readings in order to write such stories to share with one another in class. The readings will be short and illustrative in order to guide our writing.
Moderator: Mark Breitenstein is a retired English teacher who taught in high schools in Cincinnati and Massachusetts. He particularly enjoyed teaching literature and writing. Like many English teachers he has dabbled in writing. He is an avid reader of fiction and other writing, has self-published a novel, written short stories, and believes we all have stories to share.
