Continuing a topic that was the basis for two other OLLI classes by Steven Rosen and Bill Soudrette, this will compare and contrast the music that upstart FM alternative rock station WEBN played with that which the powerful, established local Top 40 stations, especially WSAI, were playing. We'll note the dramatic differences and the surprising similarities, and look at what else was happening in youth culture/counterculture at the time. This class is offered in memory of Frank "Bo" Wood.
