Paul Kightly will screen and discuss a one-hour video based on the service of his father, who was an air gunner in a B24, detailing his 24 missions, survival after his plane ditched in the Bay of Bengal, and a tribute to his crew, most of whom lost their lives in the crash. You will see actual propaganda leaflets dropped on Burma and Thailand, several recon photos taken during his operations, and contemporary maps and newspaper articles.

Moderator: Paul Kightly is a retired GE Aviation engineer. He worked previously for Rolls Royce, Teledyne and GE and has lived in the UK, France, and US
