The title of this course is a quote from Oscar Wilde, a keen observer of human nature, satirically questioning the "common wisdom" that we become wise as we age. In this class we will explore what wisdom is and how wisdom relates to aging. We will also examine if wisdom can indeed be developed as we age, what wisdom might be for, and how to potentially share our wisdom with a world clearly in need of more wisdom.

Moderator: Rick Warm teaches classes and facilitates programs on wisdom, aging, and spirituality as well as leadership. He has a PhD in leadership and change from Antioch Univ. and is director of the Center for Wisdom and Leadership.
