2439 Spending Money with Confidence in Retirement

A recent survey reported that 84% of retirees die with more money than when they began retirement. Obviously, they cannot take it with them, but apparently they try. This course offers ways to rethink the mindset of "anxiously saving" to "confidently spending." The sessions will identify cultural predispositions that handicap participating in more of the good life. The course will also present client-tested successful income strategies. People who are able to embrace a "confident spender" mindset are likely to have a best life possible with the money they have.
Moderator: David McCarley provided financial advice as a Certified Financial Planner for 25+ years. He is now retired and enjoying a "planned" lifestyle. Part of his personal purpose is to give back to the community the knowledge he accumulated when advising his former clients on how they could achieve their own retirement lifestyle goals.
