1989 IN-PERSON And 5, 6, 7, 8: A Tango Through the Best Dancing in Movie History

One-time in-Person | Available

This course will investigate the power of dance in movies, including how dance develops characters, invokes emotions, and furthers plot. We'll watch some of the best dancing captured on the silver screen and discuss the backgrounds of the wonderful dance experts who performed them.

Moderator: Nancy Nolan has presented a number of OLLI courses. Her music and performance background as jazz and operatic vocalist leads her to focus on such arts and cultural topics as jazz singers, movie music, and comedy. When not working on OLLI programs, she helps authors, primarily in their autumn years, publish their books.
