Let’s remember and revisit the books we loved when we were young. What made them special then, and what do we think of them now? We’ll read and discuss a selection of favorites written for preschoolers to young adults. Readings for the first few weeks will be assigned. After that, we’ll vote from a list. For the first class, read Mary Poppins Comes Back, as much as you like, but do read Chapter 2. For the second, read Missing May, by Cynthia Rylant and Miss Rumphius by Barbara Cooney.
