3061 Bringing Nature Home: Using Native Plants to Create Your Own Paradise

One-time in-Person | Available

Picture that morning cup of coffee on your patio. Want to be surrounded by birds and butterflies? Topics for this class include importance of native plants, eliminating invasives, and installing your plantings. This class will deepen your understanding of pollinators and show how we can help “one yard at a time.” Even if you don’t have the space/ability to garden, you can enjoy this presentation if you love nature and want to learn more about ongoing conservation efforts.

Moderator: Vicki Reed is an author as well as lifelong gardener and nature lover. She has served on the board of Floracliff, a private nature preserve, and on Wild Ones, an organization promoting saving nature “one yard at a time.” Her property has been on several garden tours and was a winner of Lexington in Bloom for best front yard.
