Recent legislation and executive orders have resulted in many communities feeling on edge. This session will provide a brief overview of current legislation and how it is impacting different communities, in particular people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants. You will be equipped with strategies to lead with intentionality and build community in this moment. Shawn Jeffers is Co-Founder and Director of Leadership Development for Youth at the Center, which advances opportunities for children through young adults to be seen, heard, and valued as the next generation of leaders.
