Historical sagas have long been a movie staple but are they real or mere entertainment? In the three-hour class. we will watch an entire movie and then have a discussion. Featured films include "Shakespeare in Love", "Name of the Rose", "Scaramouche", "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," and, over two weeks each, "Exodus" and "Dr. Zhivago."
