In this six-week workshop series, we will learn to make paper beads, using a simple tool--a paper bead roller. We will focus on making a variety of beads during the first three sessions, and in the latter three sessions, we will learn to create necklaces, bracelets, and earrings using the beads we have created. This class is suitable both for beginners and those who have bead or jewelry making experience. All materials will be supplied.

Moderator: Grace Severyn enjoyed moderating several art-related (mixed-media and paper-beading) classes for OLLI. She raised her family in Cincinnati and has been a member of the Kennedy Heights Arts Center collective for a decade. Her formal education was in biology and law, but art has always been her favorite!
