Gerardo Perrotta will cover four aspects of Italian art in the Queen City: Italianate architecture, art made in Italy by Italians, art made in Italy by Cincinnatians, and art made in Cincinnati by Italian Americans. You’ll discover both rarely seen examples and well-known masterpieces from local museums. Perrotta retired from the UC Medical Center where he worked within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Now he devotes his time to researching and giving presentations on the history of Italian Americans in Greater Cincinnati.
