Educated in Winnipeg at Univ. of Manitoba and Univ. of Winnipeg, he has lived and worked in the US on three separate occasions as well as having international work experience in France, Holland, Japan, the UK, and other countries. He has received OLLI's Stephen Appel Award for Excellence in Teaching.
