Herb Alpert took up the trumpet at the age of eight and is still performing live 82 years later. He is the only artist with a number one Billboard single for an instrumental performance and a vocal performance. Herb Alpert and The Tijuana Brass was one of the top-selling acts of the 1960s, and A&M Records, the record company he founded with partner Jerry Moss, grew into the top independent music label of its time. Let's look back at his incredible career.
