We'll discuss why pharmaceutical companies use D2C TV ads to market ethical pharmaceuticals; describe FDA guidelines for, and the anatomy of, D2C TV advertisements using You Tube examples; and analyze ad effects on consumers’ perception of Rx side effects and consumers' ability to discuss them with their PCPs.
