Bluegrass, originally a music from Appalachia, has spread all across the United States and has continued to evolve to attract new generations of listeners. We will study the pioneers up until what's happening now.

Moderator: Bruce Bowdon taught middle school music for 43 years. He has been a bluegrass fan since the early 1970s. He is a recipient of OLLI's Stephen Appel Award for excellence in teaching.
