One-time in-Person | Registration opens 8/26/25 10:00 AM
On June 24, 1948, the Soviet Union blocked all road and rail travel to and from West Berlin, cutting off the city and igniting the Cold War. Two days later, planes loaded with food, water, and other supplies landed in West Berlin, the beginning of a monumental effort by the American and British air forces. Hear the history and heroics, including the tale of the American command pilot who earned the nickname Berlin Candy Bomber or Uncle Wiggly Wings.
