This course examines the lives of four former enslaved people who turned their lives into something unimaginable. They became millionaires. We will look at their careers as business owners and the ways they navigated through society.
Moderator: Gina Ruffin Moore is a public speaker and author of Cincinnati: Black America Series. She has 20+ years of experience as a trainer, was an adjunct professor at Cincinnati State, and was formerly a news reporter. Her degrees are in Journalism from OU and a Master's in HR from XU. She serves on the Princeton school board and is VP at the Harriet Beecher Stowe House.
