2324 ONLINE: Trade, Commerce, Money, and Goods: A History and Today's World
multi-week ZOOM | Registration opens 8/26/25 10:00 AM
How did we make the journey from simple transactions to complex treaties? How does money move? How do goods move? How are commerce, trade, and money monitored and enforced? Discussion and input, especially on the current issues, are welcome. You may find a helpful resource in The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith (1776), considered the foundation of capitalist thought, free enterprise, and global commerce.
