2318 Guided Stress Reduction Meditation

No experience necessary. We will participate in a guided meditation each session, with time for questions and reactions. By following the moderator's gentle voice instructions throughout the meditation process, it becomes easy to maintain our focus as we slowly shift our attention from the tips of the toes to the top of the head, scanning the body. This guided focus allows both body and mind to relax. There is no religious aspect to this exercise.
Moderator: Greg Rogers participated in teacher training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) lead by Jon Kabat-Zinn. He also studied Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with Stephen Hayes, and has led these Guided Meditation Trainings at Nova Southeastern Univ. and other venues.
