1957 IN PERSON: Braver Angels Family and Politics Workshop
One-time in-Person | Registration opens 8/26/25 10:00 AM
Family relationships can be casualties of a toxic political environment, making holiday gatherings places where bitter political arguments take place and family divisions grow worse. This workshop offers a chance to gain a deeper understanding of why family differences over politics are uniquely challenging and teaches strategies and skills for dealing with family political differences in a constructive way. Braver Angels is a nonprofit organization with a mission to bring Americans together to bridge the partisan divide and strengthen our democratic republic.
Moderators: Mel Cohen is a Miami Univ. Professor Emeritus of Political Science and is an ambassador and debate chair for Braver Angels. Poppy Evans is a licensed mental health counselor and Braver Angels moderator and ambassador. Kathy Justice is a Braver Angels moderator and is co-chair of Braver Angels Greater Cincinnati Alliance.
